When Hotel Burg in Leesburg set out to redefine the boutique hotel experience, every detail was designed to reflect its blend of heritage, hospitality, and elevated modern style. From the first impression in the lobby to the atmosphere in the restaurant and the privacy of the suites, every space tells a story — and RMD Luxury Window Treatments was proud to help bring that story to life.

Working alongside WLDWST Interiors, our team designed and fabricated custom window treatments throughout the hotel’s showcase areas — including the lobby, lobby bar, restaurant, and specialty suites. Each space was approached with a focus on texture, proportion, and performance, combining handcrafted artistry with modern technology.

Design That Defines the Experience

In the lobby and lobby bar, soft draperies and tailored shades create a warm, inviting tone that balances natural light with visual comfort — a hallmark of boutique design.

In the restaurant, we blended form and function through a mix of elegant draperies and motorized Roman shades, allowing staff to instantly control light and ambiance throughout the day. The result is a dining space that feels intimate during the evening and naturally bright during the day — all while maintaining the timeless aesthetic envisioned by WLDWST Interiors.

The signature suites carry this sense of refinement through every fold and finish, with custom panels that add depth, softness, and a sense of quiet luxury for guests to retreat into.

Every piece was handcrafted in our Poolesville workroom — the heart of RMD Lux — where our artisans meticulously fabricated and dressed each treatment to exacting standards. Our installation team completed the transformation with precision and care, ensuring each layer fell perfectly into place.

The finished result is more than just beautiful windows — it’s a cohesive design experience that enhances every guest’s stay and reflects the distinctive character of Hotel Burg.
